EMERGENCY Vehicle Evacuation
We offer several versions of this program that are tailored to
We recommend that students first attend a
program to learn the basics of a safe evacuation.
This Emergency Evacuation course requires the client to provide a vehicle for the
students to use in practice.
In this class students are given a quick refresher course on the
basic evacuation equipment and the procedures.
Students are then taken to the vehicle where they will be given
intense "hands on" practice in simulated emergency situations.
Noise and smoke generators are used for various scenarios such as
getting stuck on a railroad crossing with a train coming or a fire
on the bus. We also use "H" (Helpless Harry), our life-size fireman's dummy, to
simulate a disabled passenger needing evacuation assistance.
These practice sessions are often quite eye-opening for the drivers
and their supervisors.
